Rearranging the inside – rather than bringing something in from the outside

The temptation always is to bring in resources (material, human, expertise, immaterial) from the outside hoping that the fresh input will act as a ‘solution’. These externalities might suppress the potential of what is there already. Project out from the given, working with existing structures—both their blockages and potentials—in order to allow for just change. Work with those who share the same vision and act from a place of deep understanding of local conditions and their relationship to wider systems.
